What is Qurbani?
Qurbani is the sacrifice of a sheep, goat, cow or camel after the Eid prayer, from 10 to 12 Dhul Hijjah. Here is what it means, who must give it, and how it is done.
We slaughter your animal by hand in rural Bangladesh after the Eid prayer, with no stunning. The meat goes to Rohingya refugees and families who rarely eat meat. You get photos and video of your own animal.
Eid al-Adha 2027 is expected on Sunday, May 16, depending on the moon sighting. See the Eid al-Adha 2027 date.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُSaid over every animal, at the moment of slaughter.
The animal is alive and conscious, and a sharp knife is used, as the Prophet ﷺ taught.
You get a reference number, then photos and video of your animal and the meat being handed out.

Choose your animal and tell us who the Qurbani is for. It takes about a minute.
Within two working days we email or call to confirm the names and arrange payment.
Our team buys a healthy animal of the right age and slaughters it by hand, facing the Qibla, saying Bismillahi Allahu Akbar.
The meat is given out fresh, the same day or the next. We send you the photos and video.
One price covers everything: the animal, the slaughter, butchering, transport and giving out the meat. There are no extra fees.
A goat or sheep is one person's Qurbani. A cow, buffalo or camel has seven shares, so a family can share one animal. Not sure which to choose? Read cow, goat or sheep Qurbani.

Most meat in Western countries comes from abattoirs that stun animals before slaughter. Many Muslims are not comfortable with that for Qurbani, and most of us can't buy and slaughter an animal ourselves. We started Qurbani Charity to make the Sunnah way simple again.

About a million Rohingya refugees live in the camps around Cox's Bazar. Most families depend on food aid, and fresh meat is rare. Eid al-Adha is often the one time in the year they get a proper share.
We also give to widows, orphans, older people and the poorest households in rural Bangladesh. Your Qurbani becomes food on their table within a day or two.
“Eat from them, and feed the needy who do not ask and the needy who ask.”
Surah Al-Hajj 22:36
The days of Qurbani are expected to start on Sunday, May 16, 2027 in the US and UK, and Monday, May 17 in much of South Asia. The final date depends on the moon.
We buy animals in the weeks before Eid, so early reservations get the best animals. Each Eid we can only take as many as our team can supervise properly.
